North Idaho Rentals
Welcome To

The Idaho Panhandle—locally known as North Idaho—is a region in the U.S. state of Idaho encompassing the state's 10 northernmost counties: Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah, Lewis, Nez Perce, and Shoshone (though the southern part of the region is sometimes referred to as North Central Idaho). The Panhandle is bordered by the state of Washington to the west, Montana to the east, and the Canadian province of British Columbia to the north. The Idaho panhandle, along with Eastern Washington, comprises the region known as the Inland Northwest. Coeur d'Alene is the largest city within the Idaho Panhandle.

Summer or winter, Schweitzer Mountain Resort offers a mountain-load of alpine activities for visitors. Ranked nationally in the top 32 resorts by both Ski and Snow Country magazines, Schweitzer is the largest ski and snowboard mountain in Idaho, and second only to Sun Valley in number of skier visits.

Cat Skiing

Nowhere else in North America does awesome cat skiing, the amenities of a full service ski resort, and easy access intersect so perfectly. There’s no need to commit to far flung backcountry lodges for multiple days because Selkirk Powder’s vast backcountry terrain is adjacent to Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Now you can come up cat skiing just for the day, or stay for many more to experience a rich variety of skiing, both on and off-piste, that you just won’t be able to get enough of!

Come experience refreshing, deep powder with us in the sweet spot of America’s Northern Rockies, where geography and snowy weather patterns combine to make a skier’s and rider’s paradise.
